A 70\u2019s attic apartment redesigned for light, flow and contemporary living<\/strong>.<\/h5>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]This project involves the redesign of a 46 m\u00b2 one-bedroom apartment located in the attic of a 1970s building in a prime area of Sever do Vouga. Originally, the social area faced east, while the living area opened to the west. The main objective of the intervention was to invert these spaces, enhancing natural light and allowing full use of the adjoining balcony.<\/p>\n

A clearly defined box was introduced within the apartment, distinguished by a contrasting colour, to house the kitchen, bathroom, and utility functions. This strategic layout reorganization optimizes spatial flow, improves sunlight exposure, and creates a balanced, contemporary living environment.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row css_animation=”none” el_class=”espaco-proj grid-architecture”][vc_column][vc_row_inner disable_element=”yes”][vc_column_inner][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

The house is divided in two floors, where the social room, placed in the ground floor, enjoys the direct relation with the outdoor areas, while the suite, located in the first floor, can be reached by indoor stairs used for storage and but also to separate the rooms.[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”932″ img_size=”full” el_class=”grid-total-proj”][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1\/2″][vc_single_image image=”933″ img_size=”full” el_class=”imagem-proj-grande”][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1\/2″][vc_single_image image=”934″ img_size=”full” el_class=”imagem-proj-pequena”][vc_column_text]The original outline was as important as the contemporary style added to the building.
